Eryk Pruitt è un autore, sceneggiatore e cineasta molto affermato. Ha scritto diversi premiati romanzi di fiction criminale e horror e ha pubblicato racconti brevi su numerose riviste, tra cui Pulp Modern, Avalon Literary Review e Zymbol. Pruitt è stato finalista del Derringer Award per il racconto "Knockout" e ha ricevuto due nomination per il Pushcart Prize.
