Jim C. Hines è un autore americano di successo, maggiormente noto per i suoi lavori nel genere fantasy. Ha fatto il suo debutto nel 2006 con la pubblicazione di "Goblin Quest", il primo libro dell'omonima serie, dando inizio a una carriera che lo avrebbe visto creare numerose serie di grande successo, come la Magic Ex Libris series e la Princess series di rielaborazioni di fiabe.
